There are a variety of areas in the Children's Ministries to volunteer. We need Sunday School teachers, Children's Church volunteers, VBS volunteers, and King's Kids leaders and helpers, and MORE!

Our Welcome Team is there to greet each person at the door with a smiling face when they arrive on Sunday mornings. If you love to meet new people and have the gift of hospitality, this is the place for you!

Join the servants in our youth ministries by helping out on Sunday nights, or help with Sunday School. Our youth volunteers are incredible mentors for the youth as they navigate middle & high school. 

Our Meal Team primarily makes and serves dinner during our Sunday Night programming for kids and youth. The team also helps provide meals during VBS and other special events. 

Our A/V team serves during all of our Sunday morning services, special services, and many other special events. They manage the technical side of service from sound and slides, to video and live-streaming. 

Communion Stewards help serve communion to our church family one Sunday per month. This is a great place to begin getting connected and serving if you are unsure of where your skills might be utilized best.

The coffee team is an integral part of our Sunday morning routine! Help set up coffee and tea service in the Gathering Area before services on Sunday morning and other special events.

If you enjoy working behind the scenes, this is the place for you! Help set up tables and chairs and clean up after events in the church. This position can be on a regular schedule or for special events.

We have a wonderful security team that serves during all of our worship services, Sunday nights, Wednesday nights, and other special events in the church. They help create a safe environment for our church family. 

If you have availability during the day on Mondays, we'd love to have you help change the church sign. Volunteers are usually asked to come in on a monthly or bi-monthly basis to update the sign. 

If you or your child would like to get involved, we'd love to have you help read scripture on Sunday mornings. 

Our incredible Compassion Cafe team serves our community with free food throughout the month. If you have availability during the mornings on weekdays, this is an excellent place to get plugged-in.

The bereavement team serves families during their most difficult days. There are a couple different capacities to serve on this team: helping with meals or helping with funerals in the church.

Do you have musical talents? We'd love to utilize your skills on our worship team. 

We need help keeping the flowers around our church beautiful all summer long. If your gift is caring for plants, we need your help with this task. Volunteers are asked to come daily for one week increments throughout the summer.

This is a great opportunity for families to gather, learn, and grow together while producing a bountiful harvest. Our garden focuses on spending time experiencing God's glory in His creation and building healthy eating habits for our children & youth!

Nashville Methodist Church will be the host church for the upcoming One Day with God (ODWG) camp at Nash Correction on Saturday, March 21-23, 2024. ODWG camps began with a vision of having one day inside prison walls where parent and child could reconcile with one another and spend time together with God-anointed mentors working beside them.

Our church has partnered with Nashville Elementary School to offer tutoring for children in grades K-2nd. Tutoring occurs on Thursdays at 3:30pm. After school snacks are provided by the Town of Nashville.
