Frequently-Asked Questions
What’s the difference between the Contemporary and Traditional services?
Our Contemporary services at 8 AM & 9:30 AM in Braswell Hall, are a more relaxed time of worship with a live band. The Traditional service at 11 AM in the Sanctuary, with music from a choir and organist. At all of our services we confess what we believe with the Apostles Creed and we recite the Lord’s Prayer together. We also have Children’s Messages and Biblically-based sermons. Whichever service you choose, come as you are and be ready to experience the joy and love of Jesus Christ.
Where do I park? Where do I enter the church?
Parking is available in the parking lot on Hilliard Street (one-way street) and on the 'drive through' side of the building on Collins Street. Our congregation enters through the double doors on either Hilliard Street or Collins Street.
For ADA parking and entrance, please park and enter on the Collins Street side of the building. The entrance has no steps and you will be able to enter Braswell Hall or the Sanctuary using a ramp.
What do I wear?
For all of our services, we say “come as you are.” We have no specific dress code and hope that you’ll come ready to worship in what you feel comfortable.
Where do my children go?
Children are invited to join their parents during worship at the beinning of the service. Following worship, there is a time for Children’s Message where all children are invited to come to the front. Following the Children’s Message, the children are invited to head to Sunday School (at 8AM) or Children’s Church (at 9:30 AM). If your child would be more comfortable, they are welcomed to stay in the worship service. Nursery is available for ages birth-4 years old at all 3 services. You’re welcome to take your child to nursery at any point prior to or during the service.
