They have had the privilege of leading over a thousand couples in premarital education.  Their passion for prayer and marriage has led them to continue educating and enriching couples in areas that lead to successful and satisfying marriages.

Stew and Shelli Grant have been married 34 years.  Stew is the Pastor of Marriage and Parenting Ministries at The Woodlands Methodist Church in Texas.  Previously, he was Director of Marriage Ministries for The Center for Healthy Relationships at John Brown University and project director of the Northwest Arkansas Healthy Marriages program.  Stew taught graduate counseling at JBU and led two research grants for the DHHS.  He has a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.  He has Doctorate in the Marriage and Family Therapy from Denver Seminary. He has served in pastoral ministries in both large and small churches.  His wife, Shelli, is an educator and Women’s Bible Study teacher at The Woodlands Methodist Church.  Shelli and Stew have been speaking together on marriage for more than twenty years.

They will be speaking about navigating differences and conflict resolution in marriage. As a couple, they will share how conflict can result in greater connection and marital satisfaction.  Stew and Shelli reside in The Woodlands, Texas. They have four adult children and four grandchildren.
