Discipleship Groups
Discipleship groups are a great way to build lasting friendships with other Christians, while exploring and learning strong Biblical teachings. At Nashville Methodist Church, we offer a variety of classes. In these classes we learn and practice the teachings of the Bible; to love one another, encourage one another, pray for one another, accept one another, bear one another's burdens, and build up one another.
By attending a group with others of similar needs and interests, you will feel free to join in discussions of weekly Bible topics and share insights. You will also learn from others who have had similar triumphs and struggles that can be lifted up through prayer and support from your small group.
Most groups at NMC aren't divided by age, so you may fit in several different classes. We encourage guests to visit one or more classes. With the variety of classes offered, we are sure God will lead you to a class where you will feel loved and will help you to grow in your walk with Jesus.

All men are invited to our join our Brotherhood Ministry. This group of men meet monthly for an early morning breakfast before work. Their goal is to create a monthly rhythm of have dozens of guys of all ages together in one room for an hour to talk about everything from our jobs to sports to Jesus Christ, and enjoy a warm breakfast.

The older men in the group also meet each Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the bus garage for a Bible study and fellowship. We also have a team that plays softball in the fall and spring. You can call our church office for more information on Methodist Men and to learn how you can become involved.
Women's Ministry
The women at Nashville MC work together to create opportunities for spiritual and emotional growth in Christ. Laity are encouraged to lead Bible studies and other activities to foster unity within our congregation.
All women are invited to our Sisterhood Ministry, where we gather together quarterly for fun activities and fellowship. Out of this ministry, the goal is for new relationships to form, growing deeper in the Word, and more support for women of all ages. If you would like to be kept up to date on this ministry, please email sisterhood@nashvillemethodist.com to be added to the email list.
Our women are very involved in NMC's strong and active children's programs. Whether it be helping with a Bible Study, Sunday School, arts & crafts, meals or decorating for our many activities -- you can always find a place to use your gifts and graces.
